Misted or Fogged Double Glazed Unit
This Happens when the Seal around the edge of the sealed unit break down allowing moisture to enter and results in condensation between the 2 glass panes. When Double glazing is manufactured Air or gas is trapped and sealed between the two pains of glass creating a cavity and helps to keep the heat in your home and the cold outside. Over time this seal can break down and cause the problem of misted units and also less efficient at keeping your home warm.
Some companies offer to remove the moisture by drilling a hole in the glass and removing the moisture but the don’t reseal the glass. My opinion on this is the problem will return and so its best to replace.
